The Embassy Suites Hotel at the Chevy Chase Pavilion welcomes its newest neighbor, RANGE - the latest offering from James Beard Award finalist Chef Bryan Voltaggio. RANGE offers modern interpretations using seasonal ingredients from the Mid-Atlantic region prepared through classic and progressive techniques. The menu also focuses on the use of whole animals such as Border Springs Farm lambs and Roseda Black Angus Farm steers that are showcased in a collection of offerings that include alternative cuts like shoulders, legs, and offal. There is something for everyone as local game, fowl, and the freshest seafood straight from the Chesapeake also grace the menu to appeal to all appetites.
RANGE's focal point is the open kitchen design that is masterfully presented within the venue's 14,000 square-foot space. This unique concept allows guests a view and ample interaction with the chefs behind the charcuterie, bakery, raw bar, rotisserie, wood fired hearth, dessert and candy, and coffee bar. These various working kitchens present an array of dining experiences that guests can opt for, including counter seating at each station for those wanting front-row action.
RANGE will also be a shopping destination in its own right with a 1,200 square-foot space featuring a selection of quality kitchenware and handcrafted provisions. You'll find baked goods, artisanal chocolates and hand-dipped candies as well as a weekly selection of items from Voltaggio's most trusted purveyors from the great Mid-Atlantic.
